{ gloriously dreary }

I favor rainy days...
especially rainy Autumn days.
to me, they epitomize thee perfect day.

whether I'm on the porch swing,
swaying gently to the rythym of my stitching,

or sitting in the comfort of my stitching chair,

with the sound of the old clocks chiming the hours away....

I feel a sense of comfort from the raindrops...

knowing they will provide for our outside friends & fauna~

Our pumpkins love the rain, too...

I find them greeting the cool wetness,
their skins slick and shiny and smooth,

so round and full.

how beautiful their colors pop
against the grayness of the day....
