Winds of Change ~

 FINALLY
a sweet reprive from the heat-spell
we've been suffering through here in the East...

last night's storms cleansed and charged the country air
and brought cooler temps on this morning's bountiful breeze.

speaking of breeze,
which one of these delightful weathervanes is YOUR favorite?

{I personally love each and every one of them!}

 all are perfect for this sea-witch-hallowe'en-loving girl!

Blessed be!

~ Something's Fishy ~

 Once again playing in my sketchbooks,
this little one needed to come out & play a bit ~
I'll call her
a Sea Hag,
but she really isn't a hag at all...
she is a kind soul who dwells deep in the bottoms
where the eel grass and starfish play;

and here she is after coming to life with my watercolors...
I gave her a goldfish tail!

she wears a cameo on her collar
~ of her sister who lives above the water....

She will be included in the children's storybook
that I am working on ~

Blessed be,
Lori

So much more to read....
